I was checking on hive 2 to see if they needed more sugar water (uhg, more on that later). Upon opening the cover to see the sugar water bucket, I saw these girls in there who are definitely not the same species as my Italian MN Hygienic. Hopefully I can get an answer from a more experienced beek as to what these bees are. They were not particularly aggressive toward me, but seemed territorial amongst eachother, which I found weird.
